It was 15th January 2010.During that time I was working in Subang Jaya , Ss15.
I always parked my car at Subang Square in the basement.
I was tired, sleepy and grumpy that day. Time was 7.00 pm.
I got into my car.....Turn the keys..
I got into my car.....Turn the keys..
Nothing..What was supposed to be the rumbling of the engine turned into silence.I turned the key again. And again there was silence. I sat there staring at the dashboard.
I turned the key again...
Okay..
Great...this was great..The basement was almost empty. I got out of the car..Looking around to see an sign of life.
Now what?
I got into the car again, ever so gently turn the key thinking that I was too rough with the little fella. Cars have feeling too look at Bumble Bee from transformers.

I turned the key again. Nothing...Numbly, I got out of the car, I closed the door...That was when the alarmed went off. TUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTUUUUUUUTTTTG. The sound echoed through the walls of thedarken basement , magnifying the noise.Panicky, I clicked the alarm button on the key. Red, green , I even clicked on the key but nothing seemed to work. The car was giving out loud truant sounds. It was as if the car was CURSING at me. I quickly open the door and the alarm stopped. I closed the door, the alarm starts. OPEN , CLOSE, OPEN, CLOSE.
I went up to the first floor and called Elvin, thinking that he was at the office.
Poor Elvin was having his dinner near Subang Parade. Elvin galantly said that he will come to help......once he finished his dinner :P

My hero......Never mind finish your dinner you need your strength. (that was in my imagination lah)
Elvin told me to call the motor assistance number on my insurance card (which I luckily found it) I called and waited....and waited...
Elvin reached my place waaaaay before the motor assistance personnel came.
So there I was, with Elvin outside the building waiting for the motor assistance to come. We saw smoke coming out from the side of Subang square.

"Bom ke ?" asked Elvin. Both of us went to investigate. The fog came from the sewage It seems that they were doing fogging that night.
We thought that they were fogging outside the building, boy were we wrong!!
15 minutes later the motor assitance mechanic came.. He brought his equipment to jump start the car. The three of us went down the basement through the elevator.
The moment the elevator door open, we were engulfed with white smoke and there was a strong fuel smell. It was like stepping into the Aliens mothership (put that scene along with the 'Final countdown 'theme song). The whole basement was white. I could hardly see one corner to another! Luckil II had parked my car nearer to the elevator.
Elvin couldn't stand the smell, so the mechanic and I braved the fog and headed towards my car. (Elvin later joined us, wearing his hanky tied around his nose and mouth, like a cowboy bandit)

The smell was so intense,I was starting to feel dizzy
The mechanic jump start the car. At first it seemed fine and the engine blissfully came alive rumbling loudly in the smog. I waved goodbye to Elvin, he was about to turn and go, when I turned on the light and the engine died again. It took three jump starts to keep my car alive and nearly suffocating the three of us from the heavy fog when it started rumbling again.
By that time all three of us were blurry eyed and coughing. All of us jump in my little kelisa and I drove the two men out of Subang Square basement.I said 'thank you' to both of them and went my way home. Praying and praying that the car wouldn't break down in the middle of Federal Highway...Now THAT would be a nightmare.
